An internet expert I'm not.  So please forgive the bland backgrounds and lack of photos and cute little things that some bloggers seem so great at.  Anyway... I just stumbled upon this site today and it seems pretty cool.  I really think the idea of helping each other this way is fairly do-able.  Just what I've kind of checked out so far seems very cool, so I'm looking forward to jumping into the community and seeing what is out there.  In the meantime, what are some tips on how to get the most here?  I have ideas, and a really important issue that you never hear about.  Where do I start?  I don't want to get lost in the shuffle.

Rapper Lil Wayne was unable to make a court date in Yuma, Arizona, on Tuesday (August 26th) because of health related issues. TMZ.com reports that he cited an unnamed medical condition for his inability to make it to court. Earlier this month, Lil Wayne missed an August 14th court date in New York City to answer weapons charges because of dental issues which kept him from boarding a plane from Miami to New York City.

I couldn't decide what to call this blog, if I didn't have family I would have a nice quiet life, no stress, no hassles, no trying to save the world for other people. SIGH.  My brother is off again with KISS for a few days, but being his normal organized self, he didn't bother to contact me until the day before he was leaving to see if I could look after Tyler. It's a holiday weekend this weekend, and I could use the rest, but NOOOOOO, that ain't going to happen. It's started already. Yesterday I swung by bros house, to get the cash he had left me, and my mom and Ty pulled up behind me. Ty had been stung by a sting ray in the ocean, and although I know it hurts, etc, he would just never keep his mouth shut about it. It's constant. Granted, should have just taken him home and toss him in the hot bath so he could relax, but that didn't happen, so after 45 minutes of his grousing, he finally got home, and in the tub, I was stressed, it was 7:30 pm, and I still hadn't gotten home yet. Can I be mad at my brother, or Tyler or both, I don't know. Tyler has many problems, emotional and developmental. It's not totally his fault. My mom emailed me this morning and said he was good for the rest of the evening, and as he had to sit in the tub for an hour, he had dinner in the tub.

I like a nice quiet, peaceful day, with the dogs and maybe a hint of lavendar in the air. Tranquility, not chaos, which is what is going to be for the next 4 days. Spend the night tonight at Tylers, it's closer to my job, tomorrow drive home with Tyler, patch the holes around the house for a party Saturday night, which I am not going to, take Panda, Chris, and Tyler, and hubby back down to San Diego on Saturday, go to Hodads (which if you are ever in San Diego, is the best place to get a hamburger), then go to friends for evening entertainment, then sleep at brothers with all three kids. Then Sunday go to the beach for a beach party, and I think I have to swing by the house to get the dogs, so another 35 miles drive home to get the lads, then an afternoon at the beach. Then Home. But I don't know if I have Tyler until Monday evening or not. I am kind of hoping my mom with pop in Sunday evening and monday, but he's such a handful that it's hard to put that burden on her.  This is my dreaded weekend up coming.

The otherside of the coin, is that on the 10th of September, Kelly is leaving with the kids for a WEEK from a Wednesday to a Wednesday, so I am thinking of taking a couple of days off so as not to have to deal with any kids - because starting the 16th I have 3 weeks of looking after Tyler.  I am tired already.

Marcus and I found out last Friday that we were going to have our second child. we were thrilled.  Come Monday we had bad news. Had to go to the ER to find out i was in the process of having a miscarriage. Its so horrible. I still feel sad. i thought we were finally making our family bigger. I hope this doesnt happen again.

So far, I have shared about my love and feelings for Andrew, but something more important is immanent.  That is, my upcoming marriage!  I will be making vows to this man for life.  Personal commitments as a wife.  I know that to have the beautiful life I want with him is going to require more than just the overwhelming love I feel.  Love, cherish and honor is just the start. .......... When that honeymoon phase is over ( which I can't imagine) and he no longer gives me butterflies (impossible), I need to be prepared. 

While I commit to him, I commit to myself to act as a loving wife should.  For you Andrew, I vow: To be polite, not criticise, not have unrealistic expectations, resolve conflicts, appreciate you, remind you your feelings are valid, compromise, do activities together, never say negative things about you to our future children, and  to have lots and lots of sex. (maybe that part is a little selfish)  God this is going to take work!  But the payoff is worth it.....  A future, a lifetime, with the man of my dreams.

 Papa Joe must be patting himself on the back fat this morning for getting his daughter on the cover of People Magazine. The photographer and his staff should win some award for getting Jessica Simpson to pose without her mouth looking like a fly trap. The article is just as vomit-inducing as the cover line. I'm sure Jessica stole some of her statements from a Barry Manilow song.

In the issue, she raves about her perfectly staged relationship with Tony Romo, "I just told him today, 'You're the love of my life,' I don't really ever say that to anybody." This bubblehead probably forgets her own name regularly, so I doubt she remembers what she told some tool hours before. Somewhere in the world Nick Lachey, John Mayer, Dane Cook, Adam Levine and Bam Margera are rolling their eyes.

She is so serious about Romo that she's changed her e-mail address and cell number. "I don't want anybody that's been in my life [before] in my life anymore. I don't even want them to have any way of contacting me." She goes on to say that Romo hasn't done the same thing for her, but she's not "a jealous girl." No, just a dumb one.

Finally, Jessica talks about how she dealt with her break-up from John Mayer. "I had to regain self-esteem and self-value. I just love, so I don't understand when people can't do exactly what I do."

MICHAEL PHELPS WILL HOST SNL!!!

Saturday Night Live has chosen Michael Phelps to host the season opener on Sept. 13 with rapper (and Phelps favorite) Lil Wayne. We're not going to argue, because this means we can enjoy Michael on our television sets once again... but really? Michael Phelps? This has the potential to be the most awkward 90 minutes of television we've seen in a long time.

Nicolas Cage still shudders thinking about his 1989 movie Vampire's Kiss - because his role required him to eat a cockroach. Cage admits he has an irrational phobia of insects - but in the film's most infamous scene, his character Peter catches the critter and pops it in his mouth.

And the star insists he still feels nauseous recalling the daring feat. He says, "To this day, people ask me about the cockroach - it was disgusting. MADONNA ADDS A CHIROPRACTOR TO TOUR

 Madonna's massive touring entourage has just got bigger. The singer just added Dr. Steven Margolin, a top chiropractor to her Sticky and Sweet world tour, according to reports. I should hope so! All that jumping around and dancing for days at a time can be draining on anyone. 

An insider tells America's Life & Style magazine,

"It's (tour) going to be very draining, and she needs him around to aid her in her recovery time after each show. She'll have daily massages to relax her."

Madonna's touring personnel currently includes 250 people.

There's another tell-all book about Britney Spears coming out, but this one isn't written by her mother. This one is written by photographer Ian Halperin, and is titled Stalking Britney: Britney Under Seige. Do you think he's trying to be a bit sensational?

Halperin claims that Britney tried to commit suicide four times after splitting from Kevin Federline, and claims her most recent, and most public, breakdown was not her first.

The pressures of her career - which began at 12 as one of the youngest cast members on The New Mickey Mouse Club - led to her deep insecurities. "At 15, she had a huge breakdown and had to return home to Louisiana," he reveals. "She was very insecure and felt like she wasn't pretty." But rather than get help, Britney focused on her outward appearance: "She went on a huge diet."

Today, Britney is on medication, but Halperin believes she's far from recovered. "There's no doubt, based on the last two years, that she is a highly unstable person," he observes. "She's on a temporary high right now, but she's never really dealt with all the problems she had. I don't think it's possible to turn over a new leaf just like that."

Halperin researched his book for 18months as a photographer of Britney, so I don't think he has the real, inside story either. I think if you lined twenty people who were all involved with Britney's care over the last two years you would probably get twenty different stories, none of which were entirely accurate. At least Lynne Spears' book will be told with love, and probably the most embarrassing part of it for Britney will be some nude photos of her as a baby.

The Lohans have a little competition for the "dumbest dysfunctional family in the world" award. Yesterday, Hilary Duff's mother called a court hearing to ask her future ex-husband for $25,000 to throw a 21st birthday party for Hilary. $25k?! \

Susan Duff took the stand and said $25k is also what they paid for Haylie's 21st birthday party two years ago. Susan also needs the money to buy Hilary a birthday pressie. The $10k Bob Duff currently pays Susan isn't enough to cover bills, so it's certainly not enough to pay for Hilary's stupid party. Susan said that Hilary feels emotionally abandoned by her daddy and deserves "to have some kind of recognition for a young life well-lived." Susan went on to say that Bob is a millionaire and he has the money.

The judge ordered Bob to pay $12,500 to Susan for Hilary's lame dog and pony birthday show. The judge didn't stop there! He also threw Bob in the slammer for 10 days for selling assets not approved by the court. He must also pay back the $367,537 he earned from selling the stocks.

While Bob was led out of the court room in handcuffs, Susan said, "This isn't what I wanted."

E! reported that HoHan's gf  SamRo, is planning to write a tell-all about her life. Michael Lohan got wind of SamRo's supposed tell-all and issued this statement: "She's using my daughter. People never even knew who Samantha Ronson was until she met Lindsay. She was just some L.A. DJ. And now she's writing a book? I am at wit's end with this stuff. This is not in Lindsay's best interest."

HoHan issued her own statement to Access Hollywood: "He's out of control. I want him to stop hurting and talking to the media about the people I love."

i really don't want to say anything because i feel like he wins- he, being the man who is so desperate for attention that he goes to the media whenever possible- i know i am being used, i am just a pawn- easy to sacrifice in order to feed his addiction. I was angry when i first read his attack on me, but- for me- i believe that actions speak louder than words... so now i just pity him- i am not standing in his way- i am not the reason that he has no contact with his daughter- he is- his need to throw a tantrum for the whole world to hear is- i am not going to go into a play by play defense- i feel no need to publicly defend my role in lindsay's life- i'm just sorry that she likes me more than him.

p.s. i'm not the one that is so lost that i need to use my relationship with lindsay to earn a living.... i am, always will and always have been here for her for her- not for anything else....so I think it's safe to say that there is not now and never will be a tell all..... written by me..... when does your book come out mr. lohan?

Can you imagine how much work genealogy probably won't be in 100 years for our future descendants.  As a matter of fact I often think about how they may know too much about us. 

Thank you technology.  From cell phone records, to employment records, school records, credit histories,  driving records, computer records , Ipods, bank accounts, charge cards, our purchasing/shopping records, etc.

Virtually everything we do, we "sign up" for or there is something to track it.  I can just imagine what our future genealogists are going to know about us.  Our every move is noted nowadays.  In 100 years, will genealogy still be as much fun as it is now?
